Who we are.

With over 25 years of experience in art-making, Cory Robinson has mastered a wide range of themes, materials, and techniques. His versatile practice spans from creating functional furnishings to sculptural works, each reflecting a designer’s meticulous attention to form and materiality. Recently, Robinson has expanded his exploration by integrating painted images and editioned prints, merging form, color, and design in new and compelling ways.

His artistic portfolio includes everything from painted works on paper to functional furniture, lighting designs, and impactful public art installations, showcasing his diverse capabilities and refined approach.

BIO: Cory Robinson is an accomplished artist, designer, and professor at the Herron School of Art & Design at Indiana University–Indianapolis. Holding an MFA in Applied Design from San Diego State University, he has shared his expertise with students at Herron since 2003. Robinson is currently the George and Diane Seybert Endowed Faculty Chair in Furniture Design.
